Publisher project for one quarter

Decide which title earns the quarter before the quarter is spent.

Every released title has a wishlist balance nobody has spent, a discount ladder nobody has sequenced, and a store page converting at a rate nobody has compared to anything. Historic lows are one-time assets. Discount to 75% in year one and you have sold the game to everyone who would have paid 30%. Steam Catalogue Operations audits the whole slate, puts one title into deep work, and hands you a written record of why that title earned the quarter and what it cost the others.

A good fit when

The slate needs an allocation decision, not more activity.

The project goes deep on one title and keeps a focused watch on up to two others. Deep simultaneous rebuilds, executive outsourcing, and open-ended portfolio operation need a different scope.

  • Several titles are competing for the same people, budget, or launch window.

  • One title can receive deep priority work while up to two remain under focused review.

  • A senior decision-maker can make and revisit explicit allocation tradeoffs.

  • The publisher wants the quarter's decisions written down, with clear conditions for changing them.

Why an outside operator

Get one portfolio view across internal workstreams.

  • A portfolio view across audience, product or demo, Steam presentation, traffic, economics, timing, and ownership
  • Independence from any preselected campaign or internal workstream
  • Written decision memos that preserve the tradeoffs and when to revisit them
  • Direct attention from ToffeeSan through the whole quarter

At handoff, your team has

A clear priority, explicit tradeoffs, and a record of the quarter.

We go deep on one title at a time while up to two others stay visible through focused monitoring. The relief is knowing which title deserves the concentrated budget and attention, and why. The diagnosis selects the intervention for the priority title; the quarter does not automatically include every possible Studio deliverable.

Starting price
Starts at $30,000 per quarter
Initial term
Three-month initial term
  1. Deep work on one priority title at a time, with the intervention chosen by the diagnosis

  2. One concise health note per monitored title each month, for up to two monitored titles

  3. One portfolio review each month and up to six priority-title working reviews per quarter

  4. Up to two decision memos per monitored title per quarter

  5. Recommendations on priorities, timing, risk, and budget across the slate

ContentCrepe owns the recommendation.

You end the quarter knowing which title earned the depth, what the others are waiting on, and what would change the call.

Project sequence

The allocation stays explicit through the quarter.

  1. Portfolio intake

We record the slate, milestones, available evidence, constraints, and current allocation decisions.

  2. Priority decision

We name the priority title and record what the monitored titles give up.

  3. Priority-title direction

ContentCrepe completes the diagnosis, recommendations, assigned work, and reviews for one title.

  4. Focused monitoring

Monthly checks keep up to two additional titles visible.

  5. Decision record

Portfolio reviews and written memos preserve the recommendation, the tradeoffs, and when to revisit them.

How the work is divided

Your team keeps every executive and release decision.

ContentCrepe
The analysis, recommendations, notes, decision memos, and working reviews listed in your proposal.
Publisher
Evidence, approvals, budget, the people who ship the changes, and all executive, product, account, and release authority.
Outside production
Art, trailers, localization, media, creators, events, engineering, and vendor costs unless written into scope.
Changing the priority title
A written portfolio decision can move the depth to another title mid-quarter. The change uses the remaining quarterly capacity; it does not restart the quarter or create a second simultaneous rebuild.
Expanded work
Additional depth requires a written change order or an expanded quarterly scope. It is not a standard public add-on.

Before the quarter is committed

Tell us which titles are competing for the quarter.

Include the slate, key dates, and the allocation you need to settle. You will receive a personal answer within two business days.

We look at the game before we quote it, and if we do not think we can move it you get a straight no instead of a proposal. If we do take it: you sign an agreement listing what we deliver and what you are responsible for, you pay in full, and we start. No instalments, no refunds. We would rather turn work down in week one than hand money back in week six.
